100 suggestions for making the most of traces of water

Towers of spectator seats will be built along the edges of the former lagoon to provide a stadium for the games to be played in the air.


A sky flying base will be built on the land that used to be the mouth of the river that flows into the lake. Those wearing wingsuits will take off from here.


A running course will be set up along the contour line of the former pond. After working up a sweat, people can take a shower, dry off, and return home by following the contour line.


A promenade leading to the river, which still remains, will be built to take advantage of the shape of the long, narrow land that used to be a river.


The land that was once a pond will be turned back into a pond and boats with private rooms in the shape of lotus will be floated. Visitors will be invited to enter and meditate in the boats.


Using the difference in elevation between the moat of the castle and the road, a facility where children can play ninja will be built.


The lagoon drained land will be returned to the water area and a huge water slide attraction facility will be built on the slope of the facing mountain.br>

A rice-growing village will be recreated as a lodging facility where visitors can experience an ancient lifestyle, in reference to the ruins of an ancient settlement on the lagoon reclaimed land.


A guesthouse where visitors can experience rural life will be built on a former waterway. The site is located near a waterway that leads to a lake, so it can be accessed from both land and water.


In the lagoon drained land near the castle where a famous warlord once stood, a facility will be built to simulate the warfare of the Warring States Period using AR (augmented reality) technology.


On the land reclaimed from the lake, the waterway will be restored and a canoe course for beginners will be built so that people can enjoy the streetscape while walking around the waterway.


A drive-in theater will be built on the land reclaimed from the lake.


This is the starting point of a bicycle course that circles the lake. A flowing footbath facility will be built on the land that was originally a river, where cyclists can relax.


A water-friendly park will be built on the land that used to be a river.


A large screen will be installed in the parking lot, which was originally a river, to provide a place for spectators to watch the games outside the venue.


A base facility for marine leisure will be built on the land reclaimed from the lake.


On the land that used to be a reservoir, a bright and clean public toilet will be built for the adjacent mountain climbing route.
