Landscape along canal following oblique weir

Ogawa-esuji was a historical canal for irrigation with its origin in the 17th century. A survey showed that there were the sections along which the mechanism of water conveyance in conformity with the topography emerged obviously as the compositions of landscape. But, such sections were only 1/3 of the total length, and the emergence of such mechanism became indefinite depending on both the landforms and the elements of landscape on both sides of the canal. Except for the sections around the starting point and the end point, the sections of different landscape compositions were intermingled and fitted into the reach up to approximately 400m in length.
